The 39th Symposium on Reliable Distributed Systems (SRDS 2020) will hold a Ph.D. Forum for Ph.D. students and graduate students who plan to take their Ph.D. degrees.
The Ph.D. Forum provides an opportunity for graduate students working in research areas related to reliable distributed systems to present their problem statement, goals, methods and results, and to receive high-quality feedback and guidance from established researchers and other graduate students joining the forum. The Ph.D. Forum has a presentation session in the main conference program for each accepted paper that will be published in the IEEE proceedings and the IEEE digital library.
Note: Students are requested to contact the Ph.D. Forum Chairs as early as possible with their intention to submit to the Ph.D. Forum.
The major areas of interest include the following topics:
Students interested in the Ph.D. Forum are encouraged to submit their original papers (extended abstracts). The papers are no longer than 2 pages in IEEE two-column format, presenting the problem domain and statement, the main challenges identified, and the envisioned or devised approach. The first author of the paper must be a student.
All papers must be submitted in the PDF format via email to:
Due to the processing of Conference Publishing Services (CPS) publication, we'll give a notification to all accept papers on author kits later, and the deadline of camera-ready files will be postponed. Thanks!
All deadlines are at 23:59 AoE (Anywhere on Earth) time
